Anime and fashion together? well yeah. In 2003, Takashi Murakami, one of the most important Japanese pop artists joined forces with Louis Vuitton to make "Superflat Monogram" This video is a fantasy that reminds "Alice in Wonderland" where a little girl goes to the LV world, a surreal place full of weird things. Visually this video is very interesting, the animation is very well done and plays with pop culture elements, specially with the LV logo.
The video was created for a Louis Vuitton campaign in Japan, but it was exposed at MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles) among other museums, anyway  Vuitton's campaigns are some of the bests in the fashion industry and they had very good pictures with celebrities like Madonna, Gorbachov, Catherine Deuneve, Francis Frod Coppola and Sofia Coppola, even Lil' Kim was in one of their ads(not one of the best pictures tho). Fashion is not an art, but is related with it, and when an artist like Murakami join forces with a trademark like Vuitton, which is directed by Marc Jacobs, one of the most important designers, they can create very good and propositive things.
